LOTRA — Results, How to Play and Next Draw

LOTRA (Lotería Tradicional) is El Salvador's ticket lottery operated by the Lotería Nacional de Beneficencia (LNB), the state entity that regulates and operates all lotteries in the country. It draws every Wednesday under the slogan "Wednesday of Joy because the Lottery Plays." Each draw is dedicated to a beneficiary institution — in 2026 draw LOTRA N.443 was dedicated to the National Digital Assets Commission. LNB funds support social projects, education and public health in El Salvador.

A vigésimo (or pedacito) is one-twentieth (1/20) of a full LOTRA ticket. Each ticket is made up of 20 vigésimos. If an ordinary draw full ticket costs $30, each vigésimo costs $1.50. If your vigésimo wins the $175,000 first prize, you receive 1/20 of the prize ($8,750) minus applicable tax withholdings. It is the most affordable way to participate in LOTRA.

The ordinary LOTRA draw takes place every Wednesday. The draw starts at 1:00 PM at the Lotería Nacional de Beneficencia Forum in San Salvador and is broadcast live at 2:00 PM on Facebook, YouTube and the LNB website (lnb.gob.sv). A prize summary can be seen at 5:30 PM on Canal 10. In addition to weekly ordinary draws, there are special draws on special dates and an annual draw dedicated to lottery sellers.

The ordinary LOTRA draw distributes $672,425 across 12,983 prizes. The 3 main prizes are: first prize $175,000 (accumulative if the winning ticket was not sold), second prize $20,000 and third prize $10,000. Additionally there are 677 urn prizes and other smaller prizes for endings, approximations and series. With 50,000 numbers on sale, the odds of winning some prize are significant.

Online LOTRA ticket purchases were not available at the time of this edition — LNB uses its website primarily for institutional information and winner verification. To buy you must visit LNB kiosks or find an authorized seller. You can check if your vigésimo won by downloading the "Lotería de El Salvador" app on Google Play (Android only) or visiting lnb.gob.sv.

El Salvador's traditional lottery has 4 draw types: (1) Ordinary Draw — every Wednesday, $175,000 accumulative first prize; (2) Christmas Special Draw — in December; (3) Special Date Draws — LOTRA draw N.443 in March 2026 was dedicated to the Digital Asset Summit; (4) Sellers Draw — once a year, $180,000 first prize without accumulation possibility, dedicated to lottery sellers.

LOTRA prizes are collected at the Lotería Nacional de Beneficencia offices at 47 Avenida Norte y Alameda Roosevelt, Edificio Daglio No. 110, San Salvador. Present the ticket/vigésimo in good condition with your DUI (national ID). Prizes are subject to withholding under Article 160 of the current Tax Code. If the winning ticket was not sold, the prize accumulates to the next draw.
