Argentina has Latin America's most decentralized iGaming regulation. 23 provinces plus Buenos Aires City each hold exclusive gambling authority under the federal constitution. The total iGaming market is estimated at USD 1.5 billion in 2025 (Cenital), though 80% of online betting volume still flows through unlicensed platforms (official PBA data). Key jurisdictions: Buenos Aires Province (IPLyC, Law 15.079/2001, 7 licensed operators, 15% gross revenue + 10% utility canon, ARS 89.314 billion generated H1 2024, new license issuance closed June 2024). Buenos Aires City (LOTBA, 2021, biometric verification required). Córdoba (Law 10.793/2021, up to 10 licenses, 4 active, market opened Nov 2023).
