Casino Hermitage Mar del Plata

Casino Hermitage is Mar del Plata's second major gaming establishment and forms part of the historic Hotel Hermitage, one of the most traditional hotels on the Argentine Atlantic coast. The Hermitage is a Norman-style building constructed in the early twentieth century that for decades was the preferred accommodation of political, cultural and entertainment figures during their Mar del Plata seasons.

A historic hotel casino on the Maritime Boulevard

The casino hall occupies part of the same hotel complex and shares that heritage of distinction and tradition. Located a few blocks from Casino Central, the Hermitage offers slot machines and electronic entertainment in an atmosphere combining the original building's architectural details with modern facilities. It is the provincial casino supplement in Mar del Plata, also operated by IPLyC, and caters especially to hotel guests and visitors to the northern section of the Maritime Boulevard.

Peak season and local public

Casino Hermitage's peak season coincides with the summer months, when the city sees its population multiplied by tourists seeking beach, gastronomy and nightlife entertainment. Outside of season, the casino maintains its activity oriented towards the local Mar del Plata public, which sustains the city's nightlife throughout the year.
