Casino Flamingo

Casino Flamingo is the only physical casino with a valid license from Bolivia's Authority of Gaming Supervision (AJ) and the first to operate under the regulatory framework established by Law No. 060 on Lottery and Gaming, enacted on November 25, 2010. Inaugurated on February 7, 2014 at Avenida La Salle 254 in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, its opening marked a historic milestone for the gaming industry in the country: it was the first casino to operate legally in Bolivia after years of informal activity and the closure of hundreds of clandestine establishments by the AJ.

A regulatory milestone: Bolivia's first legal casino

Casino Flamingo is operated by Curucusí Games SRL, a company that began the licensing process with the AJ in 2011 and received it in April 2013, after meeting all technical, safety and infrastructure requirements demanded by the regulatory body. The initial investment was approximately one million dollars. The casino features high-resolution three-megapixel cameras with continuous 30-day recording, a remote control computer system supervised daily by the AJ and staff trained for more than six months before opening. It has seven gaming tables with roulette, blackjack, baccarat and Caribbean poker, and 70 slot machines certified by an international laboratory.
