Lucky's Casino San Carlos

Lucky's Casino San Carlos is the casino entertainment establishment of Ciudad Quesada, the capital of San Carlos canton in Alajuela province, Costa Rica's largest canton by territorial extension. San Carlos occupies most of the northern slope of the Costa Rican Central Valley, an area of extensive livestock plains, pineapple fields and palmito crops descending towards the Nicaragua border along the San Juan River. Ciudad Quesada, also known as San Carlos, is the agricultural, commercial and educational services center of the country's northern region.

San Carlos is the gateway to northern Costa Rica's nature tourism, with access to Arenal Lagoon and Arenal Volcano, the country's main active volcano and Costa Rica's fastest-growing tourist destination in recent decades. La Fortuna de San Carlos, 40 kilometers from Ciudad Quesada, is the country's fastest-growing tourist town and the departure point for the national park, hanging bridges, Tabacón hot springs and Sarapiquí River rafting. Ciudad Quesada as the region's services center attracts farmers, ranchers and businesspeople from the northern country.

The casino of northern Costa Rica

Lucky's Casino San Carlos is the only casino in northern Costa Rica outside La Fortuna resorts, serving a city of more than 30,000 inhabitants in the urban center and a dispersed rural population of more than 160,000 inhabitants throughout the canton. It operates under Costa Rica's Ministry of Public Security regulation.
