Casino Colonial San Salvador is El Salvador's largest casino and the country's main casino entertainment reference. Founded in 1999 in Colonia La Sultana of Antiguo Cuscatlán, the municipality adjacent south of San Salvador, the casino operates 24 hours 365 days a year with 154 gaming machines including slots, electronic bingo and video poker, 15 gaming tables with roulette and blackjack, and Caribbean poker and Texas Hold'em rooms. The establishment occupies the former Cine Colonial premises in the heart of La Sultana, one of the most active upper-middle-class residential sectors in Greater San Salvador Metropolitan Area.
