Beau Rivage Resort and Casino is the highest-luxury casino resort on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and Biloxi market leader, with a gaming floor overlooking the Gulf of Mexico with blackjack, baccarat, craps, roulette and poker tables, poker room, sports betting, more than 1,740 slot machines, a 32-floor hotel with 1,740 rooms and suites with Gulf views, fine dining restaurants, spa, pool and the 1,550-seat Beau Rivage Theatre. It operates under Mississippi Gaming Commission license and MGM Resorts International management. Beau Rivage was opened in 1999 by Steve Wynn and MGM as the highest-level resort on the Gulf Coast. It was closed for seven months after Hurricane Katrina in 2005 which destroyed much of the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and reopened in August 2006 after a comprehensive USD 550 million renovation that made it the most modern casino resort in the region.
