Grand Paradise Playa Dorada Hotel and Casino is the casino of the Playa Dorada all-inclusive resort complex in Puerto Plata, with slot machines and gaming tables with baccarat, craps and Caribbean Stud Poker within the resort that was for decades the highest mass-tourism destination on the Dominican north coast. Grand Paradise Playa Dorada is one of the most traditional resorts in the Playa Dorada tourist complex, the Dominican government planned hotel zone east of Puerto Plata that during the 1980s and 1990s was the Caribbean fastest-growing European mass tourism destination. The casino serves resort guests and Playa Dorada complex public, which has several all-inclusive hotels with access to the namesake beach. It operates under DCJA from the Ministry of Finance.

The Playa Dorada tourist complex, designed and developed by the Dominican government in the 1970s and 1980s as a mass tourism hub on the north coast, was for more than two decades the main European charter destination of the Dominican Republic, with direct flights from Germany, Canada, Italy, the United Kingdom and Spain to Puerto Plata.
