Boldt signed for twenty years three Buenos Aires casinos
The three venues Boldt will run over the next two decades are the Casino Anexo III in Mar del Plata, housed inside the Hotel Hermitage, the Casino de Miramar and the Casino de Tandil. Grupo Boldt S.A. signed the definitive contract on 27 August with the Provincial Institute of Lottery and Casinos of the Province of Buenos Aires, known as IPLyC, after winning Public Tender 2/2025 back in May.
The mandate goes well beyond placing machines. It covers the supply, maintenance and online monitoring of electronic gaming machines, and also the refurbishment and upgrading of the three properties along with the complementary services provided in them. The term runs 20 years and allows an extension of one further year.
The company reported the deal to the National Securities Commission (CNV) and to Bolsas y Mercados Argentinos (BYMA). The filing was signed by Gabriel Amillano Cuesta, its market relations officer, and in it Boldt presented the contract as confirmation of its competitive standing, consistent with its position as a leading gaming firm in Argentina.
On the provincial side the formal closure came with Resolution 1128-IPLYCMGGP-2026, signed by IPLyC president Gonzalo Atanasof. That text ratifies the agreement with Boldt and orders the contractual and operational transition of the three casinos, bringing to an end the interim arrangements still in force and framing the final adjustment to the new contract. It sets out three aims: that the venues do not interrupt their operation, that jobs are protected, and that provincial tax revenue stays steady.
The signature closes a long chapter. Mar del Plata, Miramar and Tandil had been operating under successive extensions and interim contracts, an arrangement that kept the venues running until tender 2/2025 settled who would take them on. IPLyC is the body that regulates and administers games of chance across Buenos Aires province, and Boldt is one of the country's long-standing operators in the sector.
