Chaco Lottery funds works and responsible gambling
Lotería Chaqueña added two agreements that combine infrastructure investment with the prevention agenda. The most recent, signed by its president, Lucas Apud Masín, together with Governor Leandro Zdero and the head of Peña Nativa Martín Fierro, Raúl Nuevo, will finance the roofing of the patio and the expansion of the covered area of this cultural space, an emblem of Chaco folklore and a meeting point for artists and families.
Apud Masín described the agreement as historic and announced that the work aims to be completed before the end of the year, with an eye on the 82nd anniversary of the peña, while Nuevo celebrated being able to reclaim a patio that often had to remain unused due to lack of shelter. The signing is part of a series of construction agreements by the organization, which at the end of July had already signed the construction of a multi-purpose sports hall at Club Central Norte Argentino, in Resistencia.
In parallel, the lottery advanced in the field of prevention with an agreement alongside the provincial Ministry of Education, represented by Minister Sofía Naidenoff and board member Gabriela Galarza, to launch the "Juguemos Responsablemente" (Let's Play Responsibly) program in high schools. The initiative is based on participatory workshops that seek to raise awareness about the appropriate use of technology in gaming, stimulate critical thinking regarding digital platforms, and promote collaborative learning and the production of educational content by the students themselves.
