Córdoba Lottery: Agencies are now full service centers
The network of official agencies in the province of Córdoba is undergoing a structural metamorphosis to consolidate itself as local service and entertainment hubs. The president of Lotería de Córdoba, David Urreta, formalized key agreements that will allow residents to carry out daily errands in establishments traditionally limited to gambling. This initiative seeks not only to diversify the commercial offerings of agents to strengthen their economy but also to optimize community time by concentrating multiple services in a single neighborhood stop.
The reconversion plan covers thousands of points of sale that now function as multifunctional spaces where the well-being of the resident is the priority. One of the most relevant developments arises from the agreement with the company TECNOINT, responsible for the TIN card for interurban transport. Through this collaboration, users will be able to buy and recharge their cards at more than 2,500 points of the official network distributed throughout the Cordoban geography. The agreement has the backing of the Secretariat of Transport and the General Secretariat of the Governorate, ensuring that an essential service for daily life is now much more accessible.
While the Lottery facilitates the adherence of interested establishments, TECNOINT will be responsible for technical logistics, support, and operator training. David Urreta noted that this service represents a great benefit for the community by allowing the purchase of interurban tickets throughout the province, guaranteeing efficient service. The agreement will have an initial validity of one year with automatic renewal, which ensures the stability of this new service channel for travelers.
Logistical integration with e-commerce
The transformation process adds a significant ally in the digital ecosystem with the incorporation of Mercado Libre through the Pickit system. This alliance will enable 2,700 pickup points throughout the province integrated into the official agencies. The measure positions these establishments as strategic logistical nodes, allowing online shoppers to access their products without the need for extensive travel or additional costs. For the provincial institution, adding the largest Argentine e-commerce company is a source of pride that enhances visibility and customer flow in each neighborhood.
This comprehensive management model does not start from scratch but is deepened with these new agreements. Currently, Cordoban agencies already offer high-demand services such as SUBE card recharging, Correo Argentino transactions, and the sale of long-distance tickets through recognized companies such as Flecha Bus, Chevallier, and General Urquiza. By transforming each agency into a space capable of concentrating different transactions, the access gap to services in various localities is reduced, improving the competitiveness of the official network against other sales channels.
Lotería de Córdoba's strategy aims for each agency to stop being seen exclusively as a betting venue and become a solution center. By integrating transport, logistics, and postal services, the provincial body ensures the validity of its physical points of sale in an increasingly digital era, guaranteeing that human contact and proximity service remain fundamental values for Cordobans.
