Córdoba Lottery launches its responsible gambling program
The Córdoba Lottery will begin implementing the Prevention, Assistance, and Containment Program for the unwanted effects of online gambling, as established by Law 10,793, which regulates iGaming operations in that Argentine province.
Through Resolution 1,579, the Ministry of Health of the Province of Córdoba regulated article 17 bis of the aforementioned law and designated the Córdoba Lottery as the enforcing authority. According to the regulation, efforts will be made to implement the prevention tools contemplated by the legislator, as well as those aimed at the protection and comprehensive care of individuals potentially affected by problem gambling practices.
The text also specifies that actions will be carried out in conjunction with the provincial Ministry of Education, with a primary focus on early prevention in school settings and the comprehensive care of vulnerable users.
