Corrientes opens its Solidarity Bond to clubs and civil entities

The call for applications for the Bono Solidario Correntino is now open. This fundraising instrument, created by the Instituto de Lotería y Casinos de Corrientes, aims to help social interest entities, associations, and clubs in the province secure their own funds. The draw is scheduled for December 29, and participation is not automatic; each institution must apply for its spot.
The mechanism involves prior authorization. Interested entities must request permission to participate according to the conditions set out in the regulations. The organization has published the requirements, the list of necessary documentation, and the application form on its website, so the process can be initiated without an in-person submission.
The lottery framed the proposal within an institutional strengthening policy. The bond highlights the value of institutions as meeting places, they noted, and also emphasized the citizen participation and commitment that these spaces foster. The organization added that the role played by clubs and associations in each locality is crucial, as they are the source of initiatives that ultimately improve neighborhood life.
The bond is not the only initiative the institute has launched to support the associative fabric. The organization and the provincial Senate signed a two-year agreement to implement responsible gambling programs in the territory, a text signed by the Vice Governor and President of the body, Pedro Braillard Poccard. The agreement seeks to reduce the exposure of children and young people to the risks of digital betting by working directly with schools, clubs, and municipalities, combining training with assistance and referral when a problematic gambling case arises.
Both initiatives run through the same network of clubs, which defines how they should be interpreted. The bond uses the sports institution as a sales channel for a gambling product, while the agreement uses it as a prevention channel. Thus, the same club that sells raffles among its members later receives training on betting risks. This is not necessarily a contradiction, because a bond with a fixed draw date and limited prize is far from the high-frequency gambling that concerns prevention programs. However, it does oblige the organization to maintain a clear distinction between both products when it reaches schools and clubs with the preventive message.
