IPLyC de Misiones closed 2025 with $6.586 billion in profit
The Provincial Institute of Lottery and Casinos of Misiones (IPLyC SE) presented its 2025 management report with a projected net result of 6,586,709,680 pesos, a figure that represents an 83.37% increase compared to the 3,591,936,965 pesos of the previous fiscal year. This leap consolidates the organization as one of the pillars of social financing in northeastern Argentina.
The improved result is explained by a sustained expansion of gaming verticals, a commercial optimization of the offering, and a containment of operating costs in a context of technological modernization and multichannel integration. Total gross revenues reached 72,492,635,466 pesos, with a positive year-on-year variation of 35.91%, while expenses stood at 65,905,925,786 pesos, a more contained increase of 32.48%.
Proprietary games dominate the business
The breakdown of the balance sheet shows the decisive weight of proprietary games, which contributed 64,313,274,152 pesos to total revenues, equivalent to 76.31% of the internal share. This is followed by reciprocity agreements with other jurisdictions for 3,019,711,163 pesos, concessioned games with 2,872,082,158 pesos, other revenues for 1,432,336,340 pesos, and administration revenues for 855,231,653 pesos.
Within the proprietary segment, traditional and digital products such as Quiniela Misionera, GuazuBet, and the QuinApp platform are consolidating as revenue drivers. The digitalization strategy, coupled with the expansion of the agent network and new online modalities, explains a significant portion of the year-on-year jump.
A growing social budget
IPLyC allocated a social budget exceeding 6.466 billion pesos for 2026, earmarked for assistance, sports, culture, and community development programs throughout the province. The financing structure maintains the lottery as a tool for direct redistribution to the territory, a historical characteristic of the Argentine model of provincial state gaming.
Misiones' performance is part of an Argentine landscape where provincial lotteries and casinos are repositioning themselves as key players in regulated gaming, in parallel with the deployment of online betting. Misiones, along with jurisdictions such as Buenos Aires, Córdoba, and CABA, is part of the group of provinces that are committed to modernizing their organizations to capture the growth of digital gaming without losing the social role that politically justifies their existence.
