Santa Cruz Lottery launches new Deporbingo Santacruceño
The Lottery for Social Action Works (LOAS) of Santa Cruz has launched a strategic tool for the sustenance of civil institutions in the province. With the upcoming sale of the Deporbingo Santacruceño, the official body seeks to transform the traditional bingo format into a direct fundraising engine for sports clubs and non-profit organizations. This initiative arises as a response to the financing needs of intermediary entities, allowing them to manage their own resources through the commercialization of tickets under a framework of absolute legality and transparency.
The economic model of this new draw represents a significant change in the distribution of official gaming benefits. Authorized institutions participating in the sale of tickets will be able to retain 60 percent of the total amount collected, allocating it entirely to their own projects and operational needs. The remaining 40 percent will be managed by LOAS to cover the prize pool, printing logistics, auditing, and general administration of the event. This scheme ensures that the greatest economic impact remains in the hands of the organized community, strengthening the social fabric of Santa Cruz through sports and civil action.
The legal backing for this proposal was recently consolidated with the publication of Resolution Nº 067/26 on March 18, although the project began to be designed in mid-2025 under the concept of Telebingo Solidario. The current regulations, supported by Provincial Law Nº 3304, guarantee that the entire commercialization and draw process has the necessary audits to provide security to both selling institutions and bettors. As an extraordinary modality of the Telebingo Santacruceño, the draw leverages a structure already known and accepted by the local public, but with a purely solidarity-based approach.
The leadership of LOAS has emphasized that Deporbingo is not just a game of chance, but a management policy aimed at promoting responsible gambling with a measurable social impact. By allowing clubs to sell tickets independently, the organizational capacity of leaders is encouraged, and a sustainable income alternative is offered over time. The initiative seeks to consolidate a virtuous cycle where official entertainment translates into better facilities, equipment, and opportunities for young people who attend these organizations throughout the province of Santa Cruz.
