Río Negro clubs collect a commission for each bingo card sold

Clubs in Río Negro can now start earning a commission on every telebingo card sold in their name. The provincial lottery launched Patagonia Telebingo Deportivo y Solidario, a program that allows players to select a sports institution when purchasing, channeling a portion of the sale to that club.
The mechanism relies on a feature that was already available on the platform. Those who play Patagonia Telebingo Extraordinario via La Rionegrina Online, the agency's official gaming website, will find an option called "Agencia Amiga" where they can select the club to which they want the sale credited.
That is the key highlight of the design: the club sells nothing directly. In the traditional lottery model, commissions are earned by the licensed retailer operating the point of sale. This program transfers that role to the club without requiring any infrastructure: it doesn't operate a terminal, handle cash, or take on operational risk, yet it earns revenue whenever its members and community choose it when playing.
The slogan used by the Lottery to present the initiative accurately captures its value proposition: "You play, your club wins." For every sale recorded under its name, the institution receives a commission that provides vital funding for its activities.
The launch took place in the draw hall of Lotería de Río Negro. During the presentation, the agency detailed how the program works, the requirements clubs must meet to join, and the tools made available to the institutions. The Lottery highlighted that this adds a new way to support sports across the province and strengthen the bond each club shares with its community.
The agency also stated another core objective: channelization of demand. The program aims to direct play toward official, licensed channels, with legal and responsible gambling as its stated goal. The incentive offered is neither a bigger prize nor a bonus, but a sense of belonging: players who want to support their club must play on the Lottery's website and nowhere else.
This aspect sets this tool apart from a standard social responsibility initiative. A state lottery competing against unauthorized platforms possesses an asset that those operators lack: the ability to link gaming to recognizable local institutions. This program transforms that asset into a compelling driver toward the regulated market.
In parallel, Lotería de Río Negro and the Universidad Nacional de Río Negro presented the awards for the second edition of the student competition "Elegir(te) es ganar," which featured 44 submissions focused on social responsibility, environmental care, and the promotion of healthy habits.
Lotería de Río Negro is the regulatory authority that manages and oversees gambling in that Argentine province, with La Rionegrina Online serving as its official online gaming platform. In Argentina, gambling regulation is a power reserved by the provinces, meaning each jurisdiction licenses and controls its own online offering, and provincial lotteries compete within their borders against platforms operating without local authorization.
