Santa Cruz Lottery celebrates 43 years with a special Telebingo
The Lottery for Social Action Works of Santa Cruz, known as LOAS, celebrated its 43rd anniversary on July 2nd in an event led by its president, Claudia Pavez, who emphasized the entity's social role and its connection with the community of the Argentine province.
The date commemorates the first official Quiniela draw, held in 1983 and considered the birth of an institution that, according to the organization, supports thousands of Santa Cruz residents through its various games and actions throughout the provincial territory. The lottery had been created a year earlier, in 1982, with the aim of combating illegal gambling and strengthening the province's productive and welfare circuit. Since that initial Quiniela, they said, a path of growth began that allowed for the addition of new products and consolidation as an organization serving the community.
Pavez highlighted that over the years, new games were incorporated, but always maintaining the same objective: to support the provincial government's public policies and to be close to the people. The president also thanked the residents, the official agents and resellers, whom she defined as the permanent link with the community, and the entity's staff.
As part of the celebrations, LOAS announced that on Sunday, July 19th, the Special Anniversary Telebingo will be held, an edition that will offer more than 65 million Argentine pesos in prizes, including a brand-new car and significant cash sums. Pavez described the draw as a new opportunity to share and to sustain what she called a double joy: delivering prizes to players and at the same time continuing to support the province's public policies.
