Lonabol launches official online platform for lottery access
Bolivia's National Lottery of Charity and Health (Lonabol) has taken a firm step towards digitalization with the official launch of its platform for online ticket purchases. As of Monday, April 20, 2026, citizens from anywhere in the country can acquire their numbers remotely, using a mobile phone or a computer with internet access. This initiative aims to eliminate geographical barriers and facilitate participation in traditional draws in a more agile way, adapted to current times.
The user process has been designed to be intuitive and to guarantee the protection of participants in each transaction. After a basic registration with email and password, interested parties can choose their favorite numbers or browse the available options before completing the transaction using secure QR codes. Nancy Muñoz, the entity's Gaming Director, highlighted that this transformation allows for mass sales, reminding that the proceeds from each ticket have a direct impact on solidarity and health actions for the Bolivian population.
To ensure buyer confidence, the electronic system has been developed under strict international information security standards. Todotix was responsible for the technological development of this tool, which complies with ISO 27001 and guarantees transparency in each phase, from sale to the execution of draws. The institution emphasized that there is only one official store for these operations and reminded citizens of the importance of not sharing sensitive personal data on sites that do not have the entity's endorsement.
With this innovation, Lonabol not only seeks to modernize its sales structure but also to democratize access to its charitable draws. By integrating technology into its traditional model, the Bolivian lottery reinforces its social commitment, allowing aid to reach more sectors of society through more efficient, secure, and transparent fundraising.
