Betvip to operate with FIRST.bet's sportsbook
FIRST.bet has become the sports betting provider behind Betvip, one of Brazil's recognized betting brands, which already operates with the provider's pricing, trading, and sports betting product, supplied on the Cactus platform. Betvip selected FIRST.bet after disassociating from its previous provider, a decision the company framed as a necessity to meet the expectations of an audience shaped by Brazilian football.
Cactus is a platform developed in Brazil that serves operators in the country and the region, and FIRST.bet's sportsbook is integrated on it, with an offering geared towards the local market. According to the provider, its offering includes odds for Brazilian football with depth in both major leagues and state championships, extensive markets in events that capture the attention of local players, and stable prices in high-volume matches, in addition to an interface and betting slip designed for how users build their selections, with a design aimed at maintaining speed and readability on mid-range devices.
Migrating an operational sportsbook involves transferring player accounts, open positions, settled history, and the interface experience without the customer perceiving the change. According to the companies, Betvip carried out this transfer to FIRST.bet without interruptions for players or pauses in commercial operations.
Tom Light, founder and CEO of FIRST.bet, stated that Betvip knew what it was looking for in its sportsbook and made a deliberate decision to change, emphasizing that for a brand of that magnitude, migration is a significant decision that required trust in the provider for both the product and its execution. For his part, Nathanael Alves Bezerra, CEO of Betvip, highlighted that the brand is one of the important names in the sector in Brazil and that the change to FIRST.bet was the way to offer its players the sportsbook they expected, with a performance that, he affirmed, has improved since the transition. FIRST.bet continues to expand its presence in Latin America in one of the most competitive regulated markets in the world.
