BGaming adds Quests, a daily mission system with virtual coins
BGaming introduced BGaming Quests, a new retention tool based on daily missions that aims to keep players active beyond their first week without resorting to classic promotional spending. The product integrates into the provider's engagement ecosystem alongside existing tools, Drops and Challenges, and is offered through more than 3,000 integrations with operators in the market.
The central differentiator of Quests is the funding model: the tool is financed and managed end-to-end by BGaming, which prevents operators from incurring additional promotional costs to sustain their player base's activity. The studio covers prizes, missions, updates, and maintenance, with a turnkey scheme that reduces operational friction.
How the mechanic works
The structure proposes a daily retention cycle. The player logs in each day, completes three specific missions such as number of spins, minimum bets, use of the Buy Bonus feature, or multiplier landings, and accumulates milestones. Each unlocked milestone awards Coins, an internal currency that is immediately redeemable for cash rewards.
Unlike tournaments with leaderboards, Quests avoids direct competition between players. The proposal aims at individual progress and building a daily habit in the casino, with simple tasks, clear objectives, and progressive rewards. The system scales with the user's advancement, which deepens the emotional connection and allows extending the lifecycle without triggering competitive fatigue.
Advantages for operators and thematic refresh
For operators, the appeal is twofold. On one hand, they receive an effective retention tool with no associated promotional cost. On the other hand, BGaming periodically updates the content with thematic campaigns for dates like Halloween or Christmas, which keeps the offering fresh throughout the year without additional operator effort.
Julia Alekseeva, Chief Product Officer at BGaming, explained that Quests completes the company's engagement toolkit and that its main effect is to offer a structured system that improves aggregate activity and player lifetime value. For the user, she stated that the tasks are simple and enjoyable, with no pressure to finish them, allowing them to progress at their own pace.
The launch connects with a clear trend in Latin America. In markets like Brazil, Colombia, and Argentina, retention has shifted from relying exclusively on aggressive bonuses to increasingly leaning on progress mechanics, missions, and gamification. Coupled with regulatory pressure on advertising and promotions, tools like Quests become valuable commercial assets for operators who need to sustain activity without clashing with increasing advertising restrictions.
