Lotep showcases its integrity strategy at Brazil's iLab 2026
The Paraíba State Lottery (Lotep) played a prominent role in the II National Public Security Conference – iLab-Segurança 2026, recently held in Brasília. During this high-level forum, the entity presented its governance model focused on institutional security and transparency, elements it considers fundamental for a modern and robust regulation of the gaming and lottery sector in the country. The meeting brought together key state security leaders, including secretaries, police commanders, and delegates, with the aim of designing public policies that tackle the economic structure of organized crime through efficient regulatory frameworks and the use of applied technological intelligence.
The Lotep delegation was led by its superintendent, Petrônio Rolim, along with a team specialized in digital security and technical inspection. The agency actively participated in a panel focused on the exploration of lottery games, where critical topics such as integrity in Brazilian football and the fight against money laundering through advanced information systems were discussed. Rolim, who moderated the debate, emphasized that mediating these spaces is vital for the exploitation of gambling to translate into social development under a scheme of legal certainty and absolute transparency.
One of the most relevant points of the presentation was Paraíba's experience in implementing monitoring systems to prevent fraud. Christhiny Sanson, head of the Digital Security area of the Paraíba lottery, noted that technological restructuring and the definition of clear procedures are the best defenses against the new challenges of the digital age. For Lotep, the integration between efficient regulation and public security policies is the only viable way to confront threats such as result manipulation and other irregularities that could affect trust in the industry.
