Cirsa reached 637 million in revenue in the second quarter

Cirsa announced its results for the second quarter of 2026, with revenues of 637 million euros and an operating profit of 202 million, thus surpassing the 200 million barrier for the first time and achieving 72 consecutive quarters of growth. The company closed the first half of the year with an 8.3 percent increase in operating profit compared to the same period in 2025, a progress attributed to the robustness of its operations, execution discipline, and the contribution of businesses incorporated in recent months.

In detail, the quarter's operating revenues grew by 10.1 percent year-on-year, while operating profit rose by 8.3 percent, driven by the performance of the different business units and the incorporation of new operations. According to the company, the results reflect balanced growth across the geographies where it operates, accompanied by an investment strategy focused on expanding its offering, improving efficiency, and generating both organic and acquisition-driven growth. For the first half of the year as a whole, revenues increased by 9.1 percent and EBITDA by 8.4 percent compared to the same period last year.

In the casino segment, the division maintained sustained growth during the quarter, with the completion of five remodeling projects from its annual Gold Mine plan, including that of Casino Majestic Panamá, and the expansion of six gaming halls in Andalusia and Catalonia. The company also advanced in the integration of operations acquired in Peru and Morocco and incorporated more than 700 machines to renew its installed base. The slots division in Spain recorded an 11.2 percent growth in revenues and over 17 percent in EBITDA, attributed to market acquisitions, synergies from their integration into the group, and the reception of products such as Manhattan Mirage and Manhattan Premium, while the online gaming and sports betting business increased its revenues by 14.9 percent year-on-year, with record levels of active users and acquisition driven in part by the first phase of the World Cup and commercial campaigns in different markets.

In mid-July, Cirsa announced its entry into the Paraguayan market after acquiring Slots del Sol, the country's largest online casino operator, an operation that the company framed within its diversification and international expansion strategy to strengthen its presence in both the land-based and online segments. Executive Chairman Joaquim Agut stated that the acquisition reinforces the group's commitment to accelerating online growth and described Paraguay as an attractive and stable regulated market, while CEO Antonio Hostench highlighted Slots del Sol's performance in online operations and suggested that the combination of the group's global experience with the operator's local knowledge will contribute to driving growth and improving digital business margins.
