GLI to validate Sustainable Gaming's responsible gaming program
The prestigious international laboratory Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) will audit the operational framework of the Platform and grant a recognition seal to its associates. The goal is to safeguard the trust of regulators and align Spanish companies with the most demanding global sustainability standards.
In a key move for the sector’s reputation in Spain, the Platform for Sustainable Gaming has announced that its Responsible Gaming program will be validated by Gaming Laboratories International (GLI). This certification process, initiated at the end of 2025, will transform the way the organization’s members demonstrate their ethical commitment to the market and authorities.
The agreement includes the development of a robust Responsible Gaming Framework, an independent evaluation of current programs, and the implementation of an exclusive recognition seal for associated companies that meet the technical criteria.
External validation to reinforce transparency
The choice of GLI is no coincidence. The laboratory has a consolidated track record since 2014 in auditing regulatory frameworks for lotteries, operators, and suppliers worldwide. Their involvement ensures that the recognition program is not just a statement of intent but is supported by metrics and internationally demanding criteria.
