Ice Barcelona 2027 confirmed after successful 2026 edition
The global gaming industry already has its next major event scheduled. After exceeding all participation expectations at ICE Barcelona 2026, the organizers have announced that the 2027 edition will take place from January 19 to 21, once again at the Fira Gran Via venue.
The agenda will be integrated within the World Gaming Week, an extended program starting on January 17 that will offer five days of networking, technological exhibitions, and market analysis. In parallel, the iGB Affiliate event, specialized in the affiliate sector, will be held on January 20 and 21.
The impact of the 2026 edition
The announcement comes after an edition marked by innovation and the presence of internationally renowned figures. The event featured sports stars such as Luis Figo and Alessandro Del Piero, alongside world chess leaders Magnus Carlsen and Hikaru Nakamura, who attracted massive attention to the gamification and betting sectors.
One of this year’s highlights was the Casa Brasil, a space dedicated exclusively to unpacking the regulation and opportunities of the Brazilian market, establishing itself as an essential forum for transatlantic collaborations. Additionally, the first StandOut Awards were presented, recognizing excellence in sustainability and exhibitor design.
Interest registration available
Although the formal registration period has not yet begun, the organization has already enabled a pre-registration system. Interested parties can sign up to receive automatic notifications and secure their place in what is projected to be the most influential event in the sector for 2027.
