Kambi partners with CBN to expand in Central America & Caribbean
Swedish sports betting solutions provider Kambi Group announced the signing of a multi-year alliance with Canadian Bank Note Company, a Canadian lottery and gambling operator with an international presence. The agreement provides for the integration of Kambi's turnkey solution, known as Turnkey Sportsbook, to boost the North American group's digital operations in markets across South America, Central America, and the Caribbean.
The initial deployment will focus on Central America and the Caribbean through the LET'S BET and APOSTEMOS brands, both owned by Canadian Bank Note. This move aligns with the Canadian group's strategy to transform from a historically lottery-focused business to a fully digital sports betting operator.
Turnkey Technology with AI and Integrated Trading
The choice of Kambi as a technology partner is due to the robustness of its platform, which combines advanced pricing and trading capabilities with AI-based loyalty tools. Coupled with a revamped user interface, the package allows Canadian Bank Note to differentiate its offering from regional competitors in an increasingly demanding digital environment.
Werner Becher, CEO of Kambi Group, highlighted that the contract signing reflects the provider's track record of supporting ambitious operators in the Americas. Kirk Arends, President of Lottery and Gaming at Canadian Bank Note, noted that the launch of the new digital channel is a critical step to support the group's regional expansion and offer a modern and attractive experience.
An Expansion Aimed at the American Continent
The alliance is part of Kambi's plan to consolidate itself as the leading B2B sports betting provider in the Americas, where it competes with global and local players for long-term contracts with operators and state lotteries. For Canadian Bank Note, historically specialized in security printing and solutions for governments, it marks another stage in its transformation towards technology and digital gaming, segments where it seeks to rely on its own brands and strategic partners.
Central America and the Caribbean are emerging as a relevant commercial frontier for global providers. Countries with strong state lotteries and new digital demands become an ideal scenario for agreements of this type, where the combination of local brand, market knowledge, and international technology allows for shorter deployment times. The addition of Latin America to Kambi's priority map confirms the regional appeal for major B2B sportsbook players.
