Amusnet debuts land-based in Peru with Atlantic City machines
Amusnet, an international provider of comprehensive solutions for the gaming industry, took a key step in its Latin American expansion by officially entering Peru's land-based gaming market. The company installed its first slot machines at the Atlantic City Casino in Lima, located in the Miraflores district, during a high-profile event held on April 28.
The presentation brought together some 200 attendees, including industry guests, players, and media. At the heart of the offering was the S55J cabinet, a premium machine equipped with a 55-inch 4K curved screen, which the company itself highlighted as the protagonist of the provider's new phase in the country. The activation included a pre-event cocktail, interactive experiences with prizes, and live entertainment, featuring a show by Peruvian comedian Fernando Armas and a demonstration by streamer Matt Keelan of Amusnet titles for mobile devices and physical machines.
The company emphasized that its strategy is multi-channel. Amusnet seeks to transfer its most successful online titles to the physical environment, capitalizing on the recognition gained in the digital segment and reinforcing both player interaction and brand visibility. The idea is to offer users a consistent experience between the online casino and the land-based casino, with catalogs that complement each other.
Amusnet Peru Director, Juan José Castillo, described the launch as a key step in local expansion. He highlighted that the company is not only incorporating new machines but also bringing to the physical environment an experience that many Peruvian players already knew from the online channel. He emphasized the privileged location of Atlantic City Casino, in Miraflores, as a suitable setting for this high-level proposal.
For his part, Atlantic City Product Sub-Manager, Nicomedes Ponce, noted that Amusnet is an important partner for the group's online casino and that the decision to incorporate their machines into the physical environment reflects a conviction about the product's potential. He indicated that the first weeks of operation yielded positive results and that the new proposal seeks to set a new standard in the land-based gaming experience in Peru.
This move is part of a broader regional trend. In recent years, Peru has consolidated its regulatory framework for online betting and land-based gaming, attracting increasing investment from providers seeking to complement their digital catalog with a physical presence.
