Carnaval Hotel Casino in Encarnación celebrated its twentieth anniversary with an event attended by authorities, guests, and clients. As part of the celebrations, the company held a ceremony with clients and special guests where, according to local media Última Hora, attendees were welcomed with a gastronomic proposal prepared by chef Wendy Giltz, and through Tabaquería Café, they enjoyed Ron Residentas and Habacorp.
Más Encarnación reported that every detail of the celebration was prepared to highlight the values that have accompanied the establishment for two decades, and that the ambiance, shows, and interventions evoked the achievements made and the effort of those who were part of the project.
Juan Norberto Rubio, general manager of Casinos Paraguayos, highlighted to Última Hora the commitment of employees and the trust of clients as fundamental pillars of the company's growth. For her part, Marcia Espínola, manager of Carnaval Hotel, emphasized the permanent challenge of innovating and offering quality experiences that strengthen the proposal and contribute to the city's tourism development.
The anniversary comes at a time of growth for the sector in the country. The National Gaming Commission released the financial results for June, which show that in the first half of the year, gaming recorded accumulated revenue of 113,794,640,158 guaraníes, about 18.4 million dollars, an increase of 4.1 percent compared to the same period in 2025, when revenue of 109,307,896,109 guaraníes, about 17.7 million, was reported. The National Tax Revenue Directorate's portal shows the comparative table of fees collected by Conajzar, indicating that in June, revenue of 19,549,722,065 guaraníes, about 3.1 million dollars, was recorded, a 3.8 percent increase compared to the same month last year.
