LNB and Betpro integrate Lotería Pagos gateway in El Salvador
The National Charity Lottery signed a strategic agreement with Betpro to strengthen the security and transparency of regulated gambling in El Salvador. As a result of the alliance, the operator will implement the Lotería Pagos gateway on its digital platform and will become the first authorized sports betting operator to integrate this infrastructure developed by the state entity.
According to details, the new technological infrastructure allows player operations to be supported by real-time identity validation mechanisms, cybersecurity controls, and a connection to Salvadoran banking, with the aim of protecting users, preventing fraud, and offering more secure transactions. Antonio Bonilla, Betpro El Salvador manager, stated that the incorporation of the new payment processor is a source of pride for the company and valued having the lottery as a regulator and a payment method that reinforces confidence in the country, in a growing gambling market.
For his part, Héctor Aguiar, general manager of the National Charity Lottery, affirmed that users can trust that their operations are connected to Salvadoran banking and stated that the agreement guarantees security and reliability systems so that they can carry out their transactions. The entity highlighted that cooperation between the regulatory body and the private sector consolidates a legal and transparent market, aligned with the best international practices, while Betpro noted that the adoption of the gateway reaffirms its commitment to investing in responsible innovation and the country's development.
