Enjoy Punta del Este closes 2026 summer with historic attendance
The most emblematic tourist and entertainment complex on the Uruguayan coast, Enjoy Punta del Este, has presented an exceptional balance sheet at the end of its 2026 summer season. With a massive influx that exceeded 300,000 visitors in the casino area alone, the resort has consolidated its position as the main driver of high-end tourism in the Maldonado department. This constant flow of visitors was not only due to the gambling offerings but also to a comprehensive strategy that combined international tournaments, first-class shows, and a strong presence of entertainment figures who energized the social agenda of the resort town.
During the summer months, the casino became the epicenter of action with major proposals such as the Enjoy Poker Tour and the Enjoy Poker Millions, events that attracted professional players from various latitudes. These competitions were joined by initiatives such as "Un Verano en Juego" (A Summer in Play) and the traditional free slots tournaments, designed to attract a diverse audience looking for a complete entertainment experience in a safe and professional environment.

With over 10,000 attendees at its parties and events, the club featured international figures such as Carolina “Pampita” Ardohain, Zaira Nara, and actor Nicolás Furtado, who participated in the exclusive OVO Beach events. This combination of celebrities and cutting-edge artistic proposals has been fundamental in maintaining the resort's appeal among new generations of tourists.

During the high season, the resort operated with a staff of over 1,800 employees, adding 800 temporary workers to its permanent team of 1,000 people. With an annual investment in salaries of around 44 million dollars, the company remains one of the most relevant employers in the country, working hand in hand with more than 800 national suppliers, 240 of whom belong specifically to the local Maldonado area.
In parallel to its tourism activity, the complex has strengthened its social commitment agenda. Through support for sports programs such as Maldonado Boxea and professional training programs such as the "Expert in Tourism and Entertainment" course, developed together with the Universidad de la Empresa (UDE), the resort seeks to provide the community with tools for personal and professional growth.
