Betsson: Record-breaking LatAm growth, strengthening global gains

Betsson Group has presented the results for the third quarter of 2025, highlighting a 10% year-on-year growth in Latin America, where casino revenues reached record levels, consolidating the region as one of the group’s strategic pillars.

Globally, total revenues amounted to 295.8 million euros, representing a 6% year-on-year increase and an 11% organic growth. The online casino contributed 216.4 million euros (+6%), while sports betting generated 171.4 million euros (+4%), with a margin of 8.8%.

EBITDA stood at 82.5 million euros (+3%), with a margin of 27.9%, while EBIT reached 66.9 million euros (+4%), with a margin of 22.6%. The net profit was 50.1 million euros (€0.34 per share) and the operating cash flow amounted to 64.8 million euros, with a net debt position of -220 million. The group closed the quarter with 1.3 million active customers.

“Latin America continues to be a key region for our growth. The combination of technology, solid regulation, and loyalty strategies has allowed us to consolidate a sustainable base in increasingly mature markets,” highlighted the Betsson team in their report.

All-time highs in casino and strong European performance

Casino revenues reached a new all-time high, while locally regulated markets grew by 16%, now representing 64% of global revenues.

The largest contribution to growth came from Western Europe, with a 27% increase in revenues, mainly driven by the strong performance in Italy, where Betsson continues gaining market share in both casino and sports betting.

Innovation, sponsorships, and long-term vision

During the quarter, Betsson strengthened its international presence with new sports sponsorships, including agreements with the Greek clubs Aris BC and Mykonos BC, as well as extending collaborations with FK Žalgiris and the Lithuanian Basketball Association. In Italy, the company initiated a new sponsorship with Serie B club SSC Bari.

In the product area, the company continues investing in technological improvements, new gaming applications, optimization of platform performance, and innovative features in the sportsbook, such as early payout (cash out).

Looking ahead, Betsson expects that the 2026 World Cup will further boost its global growth, both in betting volume and product expansion.
