Ezugi adds an animated cockfighting tournament to its RNG catalog
Ezugi launched Big Cock Knockout, an elimination format featuring animated characters battling in an arena, which the provider places within its line of random outcome games. The cast consists of 17 roosters, each with a distinct appearance, character, and fighting style. From this roster, the game randomly selects four in each round, ensuring no two tournaments repeat the same matchups.
Bets are placed per contender. Each character enters the arena with their own odds calculated based on their probability of winning, and players distribute their money among those they consider favorites before the bracket begins. Layered over this structure are randomly appearing multipliers that increase the payout when the chosen rooster ultimately wins.
The game's engine is not a live table but an RNG mathematical model, and the provider clarifies that it was built referencing Stock Market and Race Track, two Evolution formats that had already solved the problem of offering multiple odds without a dealer. Gilad Ben-Ami, CEO of Ezugi, stated: "Big Cock Knockout brings something completely different to Ezugi's game portfolio." The executive added that the company aims to explore original game concepts while incorporating new twists into classic casino favorites.
The launch indicates the segment's direction. An animated tournament with odds per participant replicates the commercial logic of a live casino table, with multiple open positions per round and a narrative that sustains attention between results, but without a studio, staff, or the time slot that a real broadcast demands. For the operator, the difference lies in cost and availability, because an RNG title can be served equally at any time and on any device. The flip side is thematic, as cockfighting is prohibited or restricted in many regulated markets in the region, and the cartoon nature is not always enough for a regulator to overlook the setting.
