Play'n GO launches Wrappin More Gold with three collection rounds

Play'n GO has added Wrappin More Gold to its portfolio, a 5-reel, 20-payline video slot whose core mechanic is neither a multiplier nor a cascade, but a symbol that takes up an increasing amount of space. The mummy starts as a 2x2 block and expands as the gem meter fills, eventually covering the entire reel set, with that growth able to award additional spins to the ongoing round.
Access to the features is divided between two triggers. Three colored urns above the reels collect their corresponding scatter gems, with up to three able to become active at once, while two chests gather wilds and bonus spin symbols. Entry to one of the three dedicated rounds is unlocked by a Collect and Win scatter gem, or by a mummy on the first reel accompanied by at least one scatter gem. Each round begins with five spins, and the three differ in what they introduce: extra spin gems, expanded reel sets, double coins and gems, and 2x and 3x multipliers applied to the entire collection area.
On the free spins front, landing three or more bonus symbols awards six spins, with each retrigger adding three more, up to a maximum of 33. During this phase, the likelihood of triggering both Collect and Win and the instant bonus increases—the latter being a pick feature among 15 mystery symbols where the prize is determined by the first three matching reveals. Wilds substitute for everything except scatter gems, bonus symbols, and mummy symbols, and can trigger the instant bonus in both the base game and during extra spins. The optional GO Ultra buy starts the feature with three gems already loaded into the meter and increases the odds of triggering it during the bonus phase.
The game is set in Ancient Egypt, featuring Pharaoh Cheops on a quest for celestial treasure, with Queen Cleopatra and Ptolemy opposing him, against a visual backdrop featuring scarabs, temple stones, golden pyramids, and the depths of the Duat. Magnus Wallentin, Games Ambassador at the company, explained the design rationale: "Collection features work best when their progress is immediately visible," noting that the mummy acts simultaneously as a collector and an indicator of the round's progress.
