Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Las Vegas is the Strip resort that replaced the historic Mirage when Hard Rock International, owned by the Seminole Tribe of Florida, acquired the property in 2022 and rebranded it as Hard Rock in 2024. The resort features a gaming floor with blackjack, baccarat, craps, roulette and poker tables, sports betting, more than 3,000 rooms, restaurants, the Hard Rock Cafe as brand icon and live entertainment venues. It operates 24 hours under NGCB license. The Mirage, opened in 1989 by Steve Wynn, was the resort that permanently changed the Strip: it was the first modern Las Vegas megaresort, with the artificial volcano in front of the building as its emblematic show, the Dolphin Habitat dolphins and Siegfried and Roy white tiger habitat.
