ALEA promotes agency training via virtual responsible gambling course
The Argentine State Lotteries Association (ALEA) continues to strengthen integrity standards in the industry with the announcement of a new distance learning session. Titled "Responsible and Safe Gaming: the key role of the retailer," this free activity will take place on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 2:00 PM.
The initiative, framed within International Responsible Gaming Week, is specifically designed for owners and staff of official lottery agencies nationwide, recognizing their strategic position as the first point of contact with the bettor.
Organized by ALEA's Responsible Gaming and Social Responsibility Coordinating Unit, the training will last 50 minutes and will be broadcast live. The central objective is to provide sales agents with practical tools that allow them to act as preventive figures within the legal gaming model. Being on the "front line" of customer service, retailers play a fundamental role in the early detection of risky behaviors and in promoting a safe and regulated entertainment environment.
The session will address critical thematic areas for the daily management of agencies, such as:
- Action protocols: How to effectively perform as a preventive agent.
- Early detection: Identification of warning signs in user behavior.
- Responsible sales: Keys to maintaining business ethics and bettor protection.
- Support tools: Management of self-exclusion and guidance channels for the public.
This training, which includes a certificate of attendance and has limited spots, is part of ALEA's continuous training program, which already includes workshops and international certifications. It is worth noting that this educational effort precedes other important milestones for the association this year, such as the International Workshop and the 75th Ordinary Assembly to be held in Mendoza from April 21 to 24, 2026, consolidating a calendar focused on the professionalization and social responsibility of the sector.
