InProJuy launches a chatbot for responsible gaming
Checking the Tómbola Jujeña results, seeing the schedule of authorised bingos or asking for help over responsible gaming became just a message away. The Jujuy Provincial Institute of Games of Chance launched a WhatsApp virtual assistant that centralises those queries in a single channel, with the intention of bringing official information closer to the community without intermediaries and of speeding up service.
Beyond results and the schedule, the tool was designed with a strong preventive component: it offers responsible gaming guidance and resources, facilitates access to self-exclusion programmes and help lines, and enables a channel to report illegal gambling. The body described the chatbot as a step toward the digitalisation of its services and a reliable space to consult official data, and held that the initiative reaffirms its commitment to player protection and transparency. In parallel, the institute signed a reciprocity agreement with the Permanent Autarchic Entity to drive awareness actions within a new edition of the National Students' Festival, where it will bring prevention proposals and good practices.
