DATA.BET grows 39.7% in first year of sports betting
DATA.BET celebrates solid results in its first year as an independent sports betting provider. The company reported a 39.7 percent increase in gross gaming revenue (GGR) and a 147.6 percent expansion in active users during the period, metrics that reflect both the commercial dynamism and the competitive positioning of its offering in expanding markets.
Financial indicators show operational stability. DATA.BET recorded a 30.7 percent increase in quarterly turnover, consistent across all key indicators. This growth was accelerated by higher betting volumes: the number of bets and total volume grew by 83.5 percent, while parlay bets saw an increase of 160.5 percent, signaling a shift in preferences towards more complex products with higher potential returns.
Content differentiation strategy was fundamental to performance. DATA.BET offers the Bet Builder product for American football, basketball, baseball, and soccer, allowing users to combine multiple selections within the same event, including special bets on individual player actions. Live streaming ensures access to events without leaving the betting interface. Performance varied by sport: soccer led with a 107.5 percent increase in the number of bets and 173.1 percent in active users. Basketball surpassed other disciplines in commercial metrics, with 83.7 percent growth in turnover and 96.8 percent in the active user base.
The official data infrastructure was key to competitiveness. DATA.BET secured official data partnerships with Infront for tennis, Odds Composer for basketball, Genius Sports, and BETER, ensuring that each major discipline had verified data. Top-tier tournaments outperformed minor disciplines in all commercial indicators, with the English Premier League generating almost half of the total betting volume through the 1X2 market.
DATA.BET's results illustrate trends in Latin American iGaming towards the specialization of providers in specific verticals. While operators seek to offer verticalized products with differentiated content, providers like DATA.BET capitalize on the demand for sports betting with real-time data and advanced functionalities that most local operators cannot develop internally. This specialization model tends to consolidate in Latin America as markets mature.
