As an additional move, the claimant requested that Macarena Ripamonti, who heads the municipality, be informed of the case, understanding that the outcome transcends the conflict between private parties.
Enjoy S.A. is among the largest casino groups in Chile and operates the Viña del Mar casino, one of the oldest and most visited in the country, through Casino del Mar S.A. The operation of the gaming rooms is under the control of the Superintendencia de Casinos de Juego, the body that authorizes and supervises authorized machines and tables, while conflicts between players and operators are also often resolved through consumer law, the path chosen in this case.
