FIRST.bet sets up an outdoor lounge at SiGMA World Rome

FIRST.bet is set to introduce a space never before seen at the expo during SiGMA World Rome—a cigar lounge scheduled for the Rome edition this November. The outdoor location between Halls 4 and 6 makes the format possible, operating daily throughout the exhibition and marked on the event's official floor plan.
The concept focuses on hospitality rather than traditional exhibition. Attendees will find cigars, whiskey, rum, and comfortable seating in an environment intentionally removed from the noise of the main exhibition floor, while the company's team remains in the lounge throughout the event to host meetings with operators and partners.
The brand is also bringing back a tactic that has already proven successful. At SBC Summit Lisbon, over 200 attendees walked away from the company's booth with a new tattoo, and in Rome, two tattoo artists will be working inside the lounge throughout the event. Access is open to all attendees, though the company advises operators and platform partners to book their meetings in advance to secure priority seating, as availability is limited.
The move makes complete sense in the context of the industry's B2B trade show economics. With the cost per square meter on the rise and hundreds of booths competing for the same attention, differentiation has shifted from the size of the space to what happens inside it. A mid-sized provider can secure far more conversation time with an operator in a seated setting than at a walk-by counter. In this strategy, the tattoos and the outdoor lounge serve the exact same purpose: creating a reason to return and an excuse to stay—which is precisely what matters at an expo where everyone's schedule is fully booked before they even arrive.
