Kambi unifies its four businesses under a single brand
Behind the identity change that Kambi presented on September 2nd is a structural rather than aesthetic decision. The group's four pillars will no longer have their own names and will operate under a single brand: Kambi's sportsbook technology, Tzeract's AI-powered trading platform, Shape Games' frontend, and Abios' esports business.
The chosen motto is Powerful network, proven advantage, and the word that underpins the entire argument is network. The provider now reaches over 70 partners across more than 100 regulated markets, and approximately 17 billion euros in betting volume passes through this structure annually. The reasoning presented is circular and deliberate: each interaction feeds the network, and that network improves odds setting, adjusts risk management, and accelerates product development.
The company's current assessment is that the industry is entering a period of profound change, with artificial intelligence altering what can be quoted, managed, and showcased, and with players expecting something more personalized and reactive. In this scenario, it argues, the operators who succeed will be those who manage to convert technology, data, and intelligence into a competitive advantage.
Werner Becher, CEO of Kambi, stated that the company spent years building the technology and knowledge for this future and is now bringing that history together under a single name. He described the contribution in three stages: the network provides insights that others lack, technology converts that insight into innovation, and accumulated experience helps operators improve what they offer to players.
Gerard Starkey, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications, emphasized that the exercise is not about image but about narrative. He argued that the future of sports betting will be increasingly defined by connected intelligence, where large volumes of data, technology, and human judgment work together, and the new positioning is a way to communicate the advancements the company has been making in trading, product, and performance.
Looking ahead, Kambi describes artificial intelligence as one of the greatest opportunities in the sector's history. By combining the scale of its network with its proprietary trading technology, it claims to have advanced in quoting and managing a virtually unlimited universe of bets on a large scale, and it places the next stage in a more dynamic and intuitive sportsbook. The brand launched across its global channels, including a new website, and will make its first appearances to the sector at the end of the month, at G2E Las Vegas and SBC Summit Lisboa.
